Sinclair ZX80 / ZX81 / Z88 Forums

Since the last time I used it (over ten years ago) my Z88 has been stored without batteries on a shelf in my study.

I have now tried to re-start it, putting in batteries, but pressing both Shift keys does nothing.

Any advice ?

check the contrast dial too.

If it works after a hard reset it could be a faulty keyboard.
