Hello everyone,

just wanted to say hi from New Zealand.

I have had an interest in retro computing for a fair while and now decided to try my hand at my very first 8-bit retro game and chose the ZX81.

Have had a career in software development from two decades back, so it was fun going back to the basics I started with (GW-BASIC on PC) or even below that. :D

If you like, check out the current state of my game project in the thread in the Games forum:

Hello and welcome to our forum AndiD !

:D :D :D

I hope you enjoy this forum :D

If you have any questions, please ask.

Ah Gee-Wiz BASIC, that takes me back to the mid 1980s programming a Victor 9000 to test the printers while on work experience (a nice break from school). Then many years later, finding myself using it again at work...

The Zeddy, with the right RAM pack, can have 56K bytes of RAM without any bank switching or paging :geek:
Although BASIC can't use all of it for programs.
