Hello from France II

Hello everyone,

Like Yannick, I am from France, I was born in 1970 and I started quite early playing with a TI99/4A, my aunt's actually.
I could save enough money at the time to buy in 1982 a ZX81 ... I wanted a Memotech MTX512, but not affordable enough
and very complicated to buy in France at the time.

I ended up buying a 32KB Memotech expansion module and I learned how to write code in BASIC to start with and then
Assembly language when reaching 13yo.

I keep some of the story for later ... let's just say that I own many computers from those years by collecting and restoring them.

TRS-80 Model III, ZX81 (3x), ZX Spectrum 48KB, Oric Atmos, Alice ( french TRS-80 MC-10 ), Apple IIe, and others more recent.

I recently found out about the ZX81+38 project by Mahjongg, and I just finished building the motherboard of a revision 1.9 and it works.

I'm joining this forum to share this passion of the ZXs and maybe help others ...

Hello from Netherlands....

Less than a month ago I released SP-2-MC10 so now you can also play TRS80 MC10 games on your ZX Spectrum.

woow ...

wait ... does the MC-10 have a Z-80 ... in that case, the Alice is not a "french" MC-10 ... it's a total other computer .. with a MC6803P

Although the Website says that it's exactly the same :/

the Tandy TRS-80 MC-10

and they both have MC6803P

you wrote something that translates Z80 code to 6803 code ?

No, the MC10 has a 6803 microcontroller, but the processor is fully emulated too.
The Z80 in the ZX Spectrum emulates (and partly uses translated) 6803 code.
