I just could not resist the temptation as I wondered through a Local junk shop :shock: a lonely ZX81 un loved sitting in a box with some tapes .

I was just thinking I didn't have enough stuff laying around in bits waiting for parts :) so here it is a ISS 3 2 books some tapes and a large metal memopak 16k .

Well it has the normal keyboard ribbon cable crack and I'm trying to get my TV to talk to it but it has manual tuning that's automatic ? :roll:

That looks in pretty good condition! Even the logo paint isn't worn off.

I bet it cost a lot less than the reconditioned one I bought. :D

Well the ribbon cable for the keyboard needs a fix and I haven't managed to get it to work with a TV yet , a little modern so I may have to start with a composite video mod and it seems to out put a more stable signal with 9.5 v I guess it like me and needs a bit more stimulus in the morning now days.

The ZX8-CCB is back on sale (viewtopic.php?p=44567#p44567) so that is your composite mod sorted. Awesome bit of kit. 8-)
