Hi

Post by Rainbirdrich »

Hi, I worked for a handful of games publishers back in the day, including Telecom Soft and Mirrorsoft, among others.

Started with a 48k issue 2 Spectrum, then bought a 128k+ the moment it came out in the UK in February 1986. I still have my 128k+ and it still works. I first encountered a ZX Spectrum emulator in 1990 or 1991, whilst still working (as a project manager/producer) on ZX Spectrum games! The emulator was JPP for the 286 IBM PC, had just five options and they were all in Spanish. Ended up registering the great DOS-based Z80 emulator (and then the WinZ80 version) and have used and registered most of the others since then.

Hi, Me too - I did some freelance for Telecomsoft (Firebird) back in 1986/7 on the C64, but my first computer was a ZX81.

I loved that era when every day brought new games, new computers and new concepts that we'd never seen before. Really happy to have been involved during that time. Fills me with nostalgia just thinking of it.
