Hi from Rio/Brazil

Post by abaffa »

Hello,

my name is Augusto Baffa and I'm from Rio. My first computer was a TK-82C (brazilian clone of ZX81 by microdigital). My father bought in 1982(when I was 2 years old) and give to me when I was 9. Of course I was allowed to play with it but only under supervision. When I was nine he encouraged me to learn programming... basic was my first programming language. In 1985 he bought an apple ][+ but it's another history.

Now, I'm trying to build a clone following the instructions written by Grant Searle and I'm very happy to see how much people are also enthusiastic of sinclair computers legacy.

Long live to the Zeddies!

Hope see all you soon...

Augusto Baffa

Hey Augusto, nice to meet you!

Good luck with your clone build - I'm attempting to rehabilitate and then upgrade a ZX81 that my dad had lying around in his attic!
