Christmas Comes But Once A Year...

Post by Component-Paradise »

For Christmas 1981 Dad bought me a Book featuring most of the Computers for Sale at the time
I enjoyed reading through the book as it taught me binary arithmetic also
For Christmas 1982 I was given the choice of Computer from the Book I had received the Christmas before
I chose a ZX81 as there was more relevant software for it than the other machines

The Revival of the ZX81 came about when a Film was made & shown on BBC4
I still have my original ZX81 & some books but the ZX81 doesn't work
I have opened it up and hope to salvage enough of the chips as possible

Thank You for reading this post
Kind Regards,
Damian aka Ibrahim

Fun to relive youth eh? I remember when the Spectrum came out, and I saw an article about it in a sinclair mag in the USA. We never got it, but I always wanted one... Just got one almost 40 years later off ebay UK lol

"Christmas Comes But Once A Year..."

...except in 2020, when it didn't come at all. It might not come this year, either...
