Bonjour! (Ink 3; Paper 7)

Post by pettefar »

I bought a 16K Spectrum in 1982/3 on the urgings of my maths teacher and bought a 64K RAM expansion so I has a 96K Spectrum!

Anyway, I just opened a present from my loathsome sister called Motherboard Chopping board and it was actually a version of the ZX81 circuit board!

Just thought you would be interested...

Hey, I'm not sure that's what Sharp (together with SEL) meant when they announced a glass made Z80 !

(ref. http://www.sharpmz.org/z80glass.htm) ;)

It looks like this is a UK based product as many sites like Amazon outside the UK were out of stock. I did find one site:

http://www.zavvi.com/gift-home-office/m ... 52378.html

that had them for £7.99 with £0.99 delivery shipping to the USA (near Chicago area) with shipping in 24 hours. Free shipping in UK.

Description Availability Price Qty Gift Wrapping Subtotal
Motherboard Chopping Board-Gift - Home & Office In stock | Usually dispatched within 24 hours £7.99 1 £7.99
Total Delivery Cost: £0.99
Total: £8.98

I love it and ordered one!

Nice find.

Mine arrived today so I'm using it as surface to hold my TS1000, handheld keyboard, ZXPand and ZeddyNet board. Very neat!
