Hi everyone,
I'm new to the world of the Sinclair 1000. I remember going to Kmart back in the day just to look at the Sinclair 1000. I wanted to buy one, but I couldn't justify it to myself since I already owned a VIC-20. Sadly, I never pulled the trigger on a new one.
I recently bought a working unit off of ebay. Now I'm going to try and modify the video for composite. I've seen a variety of YouTube videos on the subject. Few are the same. This is the main reason I joined this forum. I'm going to ask people here for some advice on doing the mod on my specific type of 1000. I already ordered the Composite Video Adapter from ETSY. While it's being shipped, I need to practice soldering using my practice kit I purchased. I really do not want to mess things up.

Hi,
Welcome.
Best thing I did for my TS1000 was buy a Zxpand board. You can load way faster than a cassette tape.

Here's the link to the product on ETSY:
https://www.etsy.com/listing/1371835926 ... ng_details
It states that only one is left, and two are in "carts".

Ahh, so it’s a ZX8-CCB, they are well known (and well liked) in this parish
I’ll talk about it more in your new topic…
