My Timex 2048 has burned. I detected the component that fried, but I don't know its specifications (it's black since it burned out).
It's the blue capacitor "C2", next to "C34". An image has been uploaded for reference (inside the red circle).
Anyone knows what is the component "C2"?
Thank you

If it's a capacitor and it burned, it would most likely have been a tantalum type.
I don't know the value though.

Re: Timex 2048 burned capacitor
Thanks Mark.
I'm assuming it's a capacitor, since it's in position 'C2'. And all 'C' are capacitors.
I will try to get another Timex and see the reference.

I was able to get a reference.
The blue component says (10 25). Anyone familiar with it?
Maybe 10uf 25v?
Uploaded a photo of it.

Yeah, that's a 10µF 25V tantalum capacitor.
I suggest a 10µF 35V tantalum capacitor is fitted as a replacement. A higher voltage rating means it will last longer.
They should be available from good reputable electronic component suppliers.
Note the + on both the board AND the capacitor, that indicates which leg is the positive.

Is a 4416 the same as a 4264, in this context?
