Display Issue

Post by Chooks »

Hi folks

Needing some guidance on a display issue with my 48K speccy.

Yesterday morning I powered it up, and as usual it displayed the Sinclair Research logo etc and all was good in the world. I came back to it in the afternoon, powered it up once again and was met with a fast vertical upward scrolling display that had the Sinclair text larger than it should be and it was positioned off to the right side of the screen.

The modulator had it's composite mod done a little while back but I'm at a loss on what it could be.

I've attached a screen pic to show what I'm looking at.

All help is most appreciated.

Hard to tell.

A poor connection (or damaged video cable) can cause this kind of problem.

Also if you more than one TV, try it on the others.

There are four lights!
Step up to red alert. Sir, are you absolutely sure? It does mean changing the bulb :!:
Looking forward to summer later in the year.
