Hi,

Seen a Plus 3 on ebay, with a 3.5" disk drive fitted.

I always thought this would a good idea. But this make the computer incompatible with 3" disks.

Another thought would fit an ST Card reader in place of the disk drive, which is the best.

Well you can fit a 3.5" drive external and keep the 3" drive, a small switch can be fitted to swap which.drive is a: and which is b:

It's also possible to.upgrade the Roma to Garry Lancaster +3e ROMs and have a hard drive too.
