I’ve edited your post because using the image link does not work unless the forum detects a valid picture/photo/image file. What you linked to are web pages.

Either link to a valid picture/photo/image file, or attach the picture/photo/image to the post by using the Attachments tab below the text edit box and upload them to the forum.

What PSU are you using? What is it rated at? And if you have a multimeter, what is the actual on-load (when connected up to the computer) DC voltage?

Mark
Hello and thanks... Post now edited and updated with correct image file links!

The PSU is the included Ablex Model 138R (Z1323) which is rated for 220V 50Hz input and 12 VDC 700mA output.
The measured output is 18 VDC on the barrelplug with no load!
I will measure the voltage when connected to the computer and post later...

In fact, there are a number of different solutions, both DIY, ready build modules and professional fitting services. These should work with a Lambda, if the problem is in fact a missing ‘back porch’.

One of the popular modules is PokeMon’s ZX8-CCB available here.
The main competitor is ZXVid. Both involve soldering. The ZXVid can be professionally fitted.

Being late to the game, I can confirm that ZX8-CCB works perfectly in a Lambda. What I have done is to disconnect the existing "composite" signal and then replaced it with ZX8-CCB using the monitor out phono.

Before fitting the ZX8-CCB the screen was very bright, which a slight shadow of the text.
