My Zx Spectrum "night time edition" modification

Hi all

I know i am late in the game at pumping my Spectrum but i thought i'd share some results.

List of mods so far:

Added on off switch
Added power LED
Added custom white keyboard
Added "always cool" regulator - out with heat sink
Replaced all capacitors
Changed output to composite
Replaced keyboad membrane

Mods to be added:
Volume control speaker
Add HDMI out

Looks nice. Would be interested to see the volume control. Manic Miner wakes the neighbours when it loads! :shock:

I am a complete novice but my plan is to snip one of the connectors to the speaker and bridge both ends with a vairable resistor.. This should change the volume leval. I need to find one that will fit the case...
