toastrack in a plus case ?

Post by Andy Rea »

Hi i have aquired a caseless toastrack board and heatsink, now i understand i can change the linear 5v regulator for a RECOM switching device and can do away with the heat sink, would the board fit in a 48K+ case and would the connectors ect line up ?

Yes and no...

I 'think' it may be able to fit in. But the extra connectors and the different shaped PCB will mean you will need to cut new slots in the case.

Cheers Mark, I don't mind a bit of a hack n bash to make it fit... I'll keep my eyes open for a broken 48k plus ,

Any other options ??
