Quote from the uploader...

"Camouflage was the first(?) record to come with a computer-based promo video on its b-side. Here it is loading on a real ZX81, playing from a Technics SL1210mk2 turntable and showing on a Sony PVM-9220ME. Cartridges used are Shure M44-7. "

I've been trying to find these programs for years, now there's a source, listed in the comments section.

I'm surprised he was able to load them from an old vinyl record. Very historic programs actually, not just for the ZX81.

Regards;

Greg

That is extremely cool. But I was expecting a song about ‘An awfully strange marine’!

A 1 million dollars program.

Don't share to be wealthy.

Years ago I played around with that program. But it ran faster than the music.
Is it designed for a 50 Hz or a 60 Hz Zeddy?
Maybe the speed was not OK, because I had used a patched rom (for faster BASIC FOR/NEXT) in my Zeddy.
Maybe nowadays, when using a ZX81x2 rom, the turntable must run at 45 rpm, not only 33 :mrgreen:

Its creator Chris Sievey was English so would have thought 50 HZ.
Sadly he died in 2010 from cancer.

Here’s a good full-screen version of it too:

He later became famous as Frank Sidebottom.

Google that name. He’s a legend!
