Looking for Z-XLR8 speedloader

Post by diskman »

My tape of Z-XLR8 is no longer readable.. If ANYONE has the files it would be great! I have some programs from 1984ish that I cannot read without it again.

I have it in p-file form which can be converted to wav then transferred to tape via an emulator of choice, the more knowledgeable about emulators I'm sure, would be happy to talk you through the procedure if you're not(like myself) clued up about it.

The link in the relevant post( 12 or so down) I believe points to forum member XavSnap's site.

YES! Thank you!! I have a bunch of tapes from 1984ish that I used it on. Would like to see if I can still pull the data. Plus, it was an awesome little program!

I work late tonight but will be messing with it this weekend for sure! I need to learn to convert .p to .wav anyway. Being a huge computer nerd, I should be able to figure it out. I really need to build an older PC with XP for running these utils.. :)

Hi,
We also have a look to the "ZxSpectape" to retrieve them in a raw format.
But, i'm not sure if the inboard converter is working.
