Does Toddy forth need the latest zxpand software to work?

I have sent a pm to Kmurta regarding this and a few other Toddy problems, but I thought I would ask just one question here as well.
The question being does anyone else running early zxpand versions (1.3 in my case) find that the fload and fsave functions don't work with this firmware version, I have three xpands and it fails on all of them.

Just wondered if I'm the only one?
