I was looking for a utility that would show me how the memory was configured on a ZX81 or TS1000. I found a few but they had issues or didn't provide the detail I wanted so I wrote one in ZX BASIC. Unfortunately it does not run on a 1k machine but it should run on any ZX81 or TS1000 with at least 2k present.

Re: Memory check utility
Bumping this post because, as "new again" ZX81/TS1000 owner, this program was very useful for me. In the last few weeks I've been upgrading and repairing/restoring a US-market ZX81 complete with vLA81 and internal 32K mod. In the last week, I also acquired a Timex Sinclair 1000 + Memopak 16K expansion, which is working but without a good way to check the memory.
Today I used this program to verify the 32K upgrade on the ZX81, and then to verify the 16K memory pack on the TS1000. Works a treat!

Re: Memory check utility
Hi, the source (for use with TASM) had not been published because of its quick-and-dirty style. Anyway. Please find it attached for your disposal.
