The game worx on Spectrum48 (with AY-interface if possible).

They wrote it's a reason ("fault" they say) of an engine.
The engine is AGD3 by Jonathan. He rulez big time, he's a great coder, but seems like this one time he forgot about some problem: the bloody Kempston must be connected to ZX or be present on-board (like Timex 2048).
I will write to Hellboj if he can crack it. I hope he can.

Ok, I'll try with a joystick plugged in. I don't have a Kempston, but I have Atari and Commodore joysticks and an adapter - I hope that'll work out...

I suspect that when Yerz is referring to a Kempston, he is referring to a Kempston Joystick interface or a interface that is compatible (works to the same standard) known as Kempston compatible.
