YouTube video: They attempt to build a ZX81 from the kit

This clip transported me back to the kitchen table in 1982 when I attempted the same thing. My ZX81 booted up successfully

At first, I was aghast at how they treated the kit. Such sacrilege!
But then I read this in the captions:

Don't worry we didn't let the use the actual components! The kit is still safe and sound in the museum archive! This was staged and no ZX81's were harmed in the making of this video!

Whew!
