ZXDB and ZX81
Hi,
Some of you might already know about ZXDB:
"ZXDB is an open database containing historical information of software, hardware, magazines and books about ZX-Spectrum and related machines.
It was created by Einar Saukas, starting from the full content of Martijn van der Heide's Original WorldOfSpectrum, Jim Grimwood's SPOT/SPEX, and Chris Bourne's ZXSR archives (all of them imported with consent, directly from their internal files)"
In the last couple of years, a lot of ZX81 material has been added to ZXDB, and this will continue to make ZXDB even more enriched with ZX81 related informations. However, part of this is also make sure the informations are as correct as possible, but as none of us are experts on everything released on ZX81 we would like input/help from the experts here on this forum.
ZXDB are the used by websites such as https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/ and https://zxinfo.dk/ - so if you find any incorrect information or can contribute with missing info, please post a comment here - togehter with a link to the entry in either SC or ZXInfo, and help us make sure ZXDB will be the best ZX81 information source in the future.
Some areas where we look for help:
- sourcing new or missing ZX81/ZX80 software titles, especially on the non-english forums
- correct or adding missing information of existing titles in ZXDB
- create screenshots for titles missing
More information about ZXDB can be found here:
- Github, https://github.com/zxdb/ZXDB
- Discussion forum, https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/forums/ ... 9f850384a6
- ZXDB is for the community, by the community -
-thanks
Above posted by me on behalf of the people that have contributed to ZXDB,
Mark
