(I'm looking forward to buying a ZXblast.)
Re: Reading WAVE from ZX81
I tried to connect to my Mac's LINE-IN and later to MIC. The signal is simply too low for any reading.mrtinb wrote: I think it's the Sony NetMD, that creates the noise.
I'll try to connect the ZX81 directly to my Mac to see if it works.
I think I'll drop the WAV idea, and wait to buy a ZXblast.
Thanks for your replies.

Yes - I changed my WIN pc this year to a Mac mini and the sound output is too low for audio loading. Too bad.

Net MD, great stuff!!!
I would like to preserve all my ZX81 tapes (200) because they have more MIA too
I've thought to buy the ZXPAND I Heard can dump in Wav format directly via ZX81 ^_^
I've 2 Zx Spectrum Tape corders (with SQUARE WAVE option) that can dump all perfectly.

I'm afraid this is not true. It won't save them as .WAV but in .P format.ranma_simon wrote: I've thought to buy the ZXPAND I Heard can dump in Wav format directly via ZX81 ^_^
kind regards Paul
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. But, in practice, there is.
