Royal Mail Postage Increases - April 2014

Whilst the Royal Mail price increases this year are not going to be as dramatic in the past, it is worth noting that overseas ZX80 and ZX81 users may be hit hard when ordering keyboard membranes after April.

The reason is that Royal Mail are now saying that nothing over 5mm thick can be sent international letter rate and has to be sent as a small packet.

At the moment, I charge £2.50 for sending a membrane to Europe (including the envelope). From April, this will have to increase to around £4.20 to Europe (as the minimum price for a small packet sent by airmail will be £3.70)

Just something to be weary of - if you are thinking of buying a membrane or a faceplate, best do it in March!!
