Timex 1000 up and running

Yesterday this Timex 1000 was running for the first time in a long time. What a feeling. Previously it was put aside as not working, but it turned out that the tuner card that I was testing with was not working. So now I got a “new” monitor with tuner, and wanted to give it another try. And it is working (with small Basic programs).
Besides the Timex 1000 I’ve posted a foto of a ZX81, with some extras. It still doesn’t work.
Well, just wanted to tell someone…

Krixo, welcome. I had a similar situation last year. The one surviving TS1000 I saved from a flood in the basement seemed to have went bad. When I used Load or Save the TV went blank so I thought the ULA was bad. It turned out to be that the TV couldn't handle the signal. I finally found an old 5" portable TV at the Salvation Army Store last month that works well with it.
I'm envious of your collection. Over the years I have lost my original TS1000, printer, Kaypro keyboard, cassettes, and Memotech HRG in my many moves. I have one working TS1000, a TS1000 with a bad keyboard, 4 16k RamPacks, a breakout board from Pokemon, a couple of books and a handful of cassettes given to me or bought on EBay. I am currently working on a microcontroller based SD card reader that converts .p files to audio output to load files into the TS1000.
