What became of the HW store Spectrum Computer Centre?

In the early 80s this was a chain of computer stores that grew to about a 100 in the middle of the 80s. They had 3-5 page ads in both C+VG and Your Computer until July 1985. I didn't find ads anywhere else after mid-1985. Not yet least.

In spite of their name, they were not affiliated or associated with Sinclair Research. They dealt in all brands of microcomputers and software. There was one on Jersey apparently.

Any of you who remember them and can tell something about them?
