ZEBRA SYSTEMS, INC.

Post by gus »

Hi
Well trying to find some info about an joystick adaptor for the zx81 I do found the Zebra Systems, INC home page :) :) :)
I know that many of you are very well informed about the zx81 scene, but maybe there are other people that like me do not know a lot about that computers. In my case, here in Argentina the zx81 (Timex Sinclair 1000) arrives very late in 1993 and the Speccy in no time after that, the information available are very poor in all areas (books, mags, soft, hard, etc)
All in all in my return to the first computer I can discover a lot of things that on those days I don't even dream about :)
Ok here is the page, with a good explanation too.
Take care,
Gus

I bought some items from Stewart. co-owner of Zebra Systems, but all he has now is ZX81 kits, some books and maybe some Alphacom printers. I was in contact with him for a while. You can find his items on eBay sometimes.
Check the Sync and Timex Sinclair user mags and you'll see the ads of the items Zebra Systems used to sell. I would like to find someone or some article with information on how to build clones of these items. If we can't find them on eBay, we should be able to build them! One perfect example is the joystick interface, but there are others who deserve to be reverse engineered.

Hi, on last Friday I sent a mail to Steward asking him about the Joystick interface, the PATCHKIT and about any other info that can be usefull to preserve, He reply in no time saying that on June is going to check his store area and then tell me if there is something...
