Re: Question about EPROMS
Amongst the items I sent to Bruno recently was an instruction leaflet on how to make an EPROM upgrade for the Z80 to allow you to use EPROMs as well as the Z80 processor (at least I think that was it). We just need that scanning in and someone to make the board! Not sure what the limits on EPROM siz...

Re: External ROM - What have I done wrong??
One thing that would help would be a friendlier url, something easier to remember. That would help spread it. My WOS sig has the url already. I'm going to add it to my sig on every English and Spanish site I visit. A friendlier URL would help, but that would mean paying for more hosting - alas I ca...

Re: External ROM - What have I done wrong??
Talking about the forum - at the Quanta Sinclair QL show over the weekend, I was surprised by how many people did not know about this forum! I have been promoting it - we need to let maybe the other ZX81 groups know about it - including the one in Germany...

Re: Logos for the forum
Now I do like these ideas - but have to agree, my first instinct is for logo 3 - the text is clearer and the pictures show both a ZX80 and a ZX81, although they are a little indistinct. If we leave time for comments until, say 20th April, we can then decide which to go for - unless any more suggesti...

All it needs now is a front loading tape machine to fill the hole in the front of the case!

Re: Drawing angled lines with user specified angles
Why not post the relevant code, to help others in a similar situation?

Re: Drawing angled lines with user specified angles
Ah for that you will need to remember what the angle is at all times and use SIN and COS (sine and co-sine) calculations to work out the change to the current x,y co-ordinate to find the end of the line.
x=x+(SIN(angle)*length)
y=y+(COS(angle)*length)
x=x+(SIN(angle)*length)
y=y+(COS(angle)*length)

Timex-Sinclair TS1000 circuit board
Hi - I have collected quite a few Sinclair related items over the weekend - alas only two ZX81 items have come to light at the moment. Both can be had for the cost of post and packing: 1. Timex-Sinclair TS1000 circuit board (untested - modulator top is rusty, but visually OK). 2. Original 16K RAM pa...
