Re: Working on a new game in 16K lores : preview
The fact that this is possible on a ZX81 is impressive indeed. If the walls didn't had any bricks and were just defined by their outline, how much faster would it be? I understand you need some texture in order to show movement, but maybe you don't need full brick walls.

Re: AYe AYe...
Digitised speech during an AY tune doesn't sound wonderful, but it is possible. Gasman (Matt Wescott) did it.

Re: AYe AYe...
Excellent!
How about WAV2AY? Any chance we can make the Zeddy talk just by using the AY? Or isn't the CPU fast enough?
P.S. Yes, I'm zxbruno on CSS. I'm also on ECSS, WOS, the TS2068 yahoo group and Speccy.org.

Re: AYe AYe...
Looking good! Any hope to adapt SpecAY so we can make AY files work on the Zeddy without xonverting them?

Re: AYe AYe...
I would like to see some of the AY files from project AY (http://www.worldofspectrum.org/projectay/) adapted to be used on the ZXPand. They could be used as Music demos and it would attract even more people to the ZXPand. I'm very tired right now so forgive me if this question was already answered. ...

Are there any ZXPand-related AY music or sound demos on YouTube?

Re: 30 years of ZX81 - a NEW COMPO??
I would like to see ports of 128K Spectrum demos on the ZX81 with AY sound. You know it is possible. Some high-res demos on YouTube are already incredibly impressing and the only thing they're missing is sound. If a full port isn't possible or recommended, new demos with AY sound (and high-rest) sho...

Re: Doesn't time fly!
So you're the author of one of the few ZX80 pages on the net. Thank you! Original software and information about the ZX80 is very hard to find. This topic reminds me I need to test my Microace at some point. Nowadays, my machine is more than 100x faster, but windows STILL seems to take ages to load ...

Re: Who would you like interviewed?
I posted my suggestions on WOS. It appears the Spectrum crowd (which were probably ZX81 users before they got a Spectrum) have a lot more interest in these interviews. :) The ZX81 crowd appears to be interested (mainly) in hardware. Note that I used the verb "appear". Maybe they didn't see this topic.

Can I convert Spectrum tunes just by replacing the port writes with zon-x ones?
