Re: BASIC Programming Manual WOS.org
As an aside I have several (ahem) versions of the ZX81 manual - issue one spiral bound has over 200 pages and the latest perfect bound one I have has only 160 or so pages! That could be what I was half remembering about Sinclair cutting out the blank pages...(see above). Mark Yep. And thats a lot o...

Re: Vintage Timex Sinclair 1000 Personal Computer
Its a difficult one that - I can see the point of getting rid of sales and related stuff to avoid spam but then I have sold on a number of surplus bits on here for below market value. I would only do that for people on the forum which would be impossible on sell my retro.

Re: Sockets for components
Thanks. I had a quick look at the underside of an issue one PCB and it looks like the three crystal pins are more or less 2.5mm apart and in a straight line so it may be possible that I can cut down some turned pin header socket connector.

Try this MuRata one - it is 1.5a

I have bought a bunch of stuff off this site.
As I understand it the toastrack sucks up most of the output of the original regulator so if you run it with anything plugged in it is not good.

Sockets for components
Is it possible to get sockets for various of the ZX81 components? ICs are well catered for but what about the 6.5 MHz regulator and the transistors? It would be useful to be able to test them in situ without having to solder and then remove them. Especially given that they can be trashed while being...
