Umm...that's why I said it was a ZX80 program with modifications on the next page for the ZX81.
But there's no modification of line 200, which is why I needed Andy's help. Thanks

Re: Machine Language book by Melbourne House
Thanks, I was vaguely aware of TL$ being recognised by the ZX80. There's no alternative line given for the ZX81. I think I have an early hardback edition of the book, later editions seem to have one page more. Maybe they corrected this? I'm still pleasantly surprised that the library had a copy. It ...

Machine Language book by Melbourne House
As my machine code is *very* rusty, I've nipped to my local library and amazingly been able to borrow a copy of "Machine language programming made simple for your Sinclair" published my Melbourne House/Beam Software in 1981. It's aimed at owners of ZX80 and ZX81 computers. On page 139 there is a "ma...

You may also find that smaller (pocket and 'car') screens do not offer the full resolution, not even 576 horizontal lines. Some of the cheaper LCD screens designed for pocket TV viewing or kids watching DVDs in the car have resolutions under 400 lines. With such a screen you may well find bits appea...

Re: No wonder the US don't do many exports
I have generally found that companies in the USA are unaware that there exists a world outside their own. This is especially annoying as I am a limey married to a yank, living in the UK. Sometimes we wish to buy presents for family in the USA, and even this can be difficult. Try ordering something f...

Re: ZXpand / Atari ST mouse driver
That is potentially quite interesting, as I have an Atari ST mouse (and an ST for that matter).

sirmorris, I think you might enjoy Fulda and the surrounding area. Although I was last there in 1987 a check of Google Maps shows it's not changed too much....a lovely part of the world. Fulda itself is a nice bustling town but there is lovely countryside nearby.

Re: Atlantis FOUND
That is so amusing. I don't ever remember having a pirated copy of 3D Monster Maze. What I do remember is being the first "kid on the block" to own it And even more amusing, last weekend I found my original copy. After much perusing of adverts I chose Catacombs as my first 16K game and then 3D Monst...
