Re: Tea Bag Quotes

What tool do you use with the .bas files? I noticed that you have the MC in the Remark statement. The tool you use takes the hex value and puts it in the remark. I've been using zxtext2p and I don't think it has that capability. I was wondering if there was another tool? Also, what tool do you use t...

Re: 1K Hires games distribution

The games are surely interesting and the source code is great to have. To encourage others to try this, I think it would be a great idea to have a "dummies" guide to 1K Hires games, showing a simple example of WRX hires, staring from the graphics on graph paper, all the way to coding the graphics an...

Re: Basic beyond 16K

Cesar,

I'm running version 1.01. I don't see "Autoload Tape". Are you referring to "autoselect snap/tapes"?

Re: Basic beyond 16K

Stefano, I did the poke and the new. Pokemon, I was pretty sure EightyOne could do it, based on an earlier thread on the same topic. I know that EightyOne is the preferred emulator and probably what most use, if they are using Windows. My main question was doing this with the three emulators that I ...

Basic beyond 16K

I'm trying to write a Basic program that will be more than 16K. I've been testing this out with three emulators, sz81, Zesarux, and JSZeddy. Each emulator allows for memory over 16K. I've read the Memotech 32K and 64K manuals and follow their steps: - Set emulators to more than 16K - Start emulators...

Re: AZMIC ROM

Pokemon, There was no full cursor, just some odd looking graphics junk.

Olofsen, Thanks for the pointer to z81. I'll have to give that a try.

The ASZMIC ROM sounds interesting and might be worth tinkering with.

Re: AZMIC ROM

Now the question is: which emulators does the ASZMIC ROM actually work on. I tried it with sz81 by renaming the .bin file to zx81.rom and put it into the data directory for sz81. That did not work. There was a funny cursor display. Anybody tried it with other emulators?

Astronomy Programs

Back in the day, one the books that I had to get was " astro.zip More Uses for the Timex Sinclair 1000: Astronomy", by Eric Burgess and H. J. Burgess. This book was related to the book "Celestial Basic" which had programs for the Apple II. I don't think I typed any of the programs in, but recently I...

Re: Other Compilers

It's been over a week with no replies, so I can safely say that no one on the Board can answer my questions. I did some research on the different ZX81 compiler and here is what I found out: The first compiler advertized was ZX Autocoder, produced by Control Technology of Hyde, Cheshire, UK, in the A...
