Problem with TASM 3.2
I'm using TASM version 3.2 and it won't let me use an offset greater than $7F.
For example I want to use
BIT 7,(IY+$FF)
Is there any updates to TASM that will allow this ?
Or is there a different assembler that will support it ?

Re: New hardware I/O board using Parallax Propeller (VGA,Sound,Joystick, etc)
Charlie did get in touch.
However I tried doing a "Factory Reset" and that seems have fixed the problem with the ZXPand.
So, it's full steam ahead now that I know the ZXGame WILL work with the ZXPand.

Re: What else might be connected on the ZX81 alongside the ZXPand+ ?
I have sent a message to SirMorris on sellmyreto on 8/22 but I haven't heard anything back yet.
Does anyone know if there is another way to try to contact him ?
Thanks,
Bean

Re: New hardware I/O board using Parallax Propeller (VGA,Sound,Joystick, etc)
I have started a Facebook group to discuss the development of the firmware for this board.
I would invite you to join if you are interested.

Re: What else might be connected on the ZX81 alongside the ZXPand+ ?
Yeah, I have the regular ZXPand too (not a ZXPand+). And it just seems like it won't move the RAM out of the 8K to 16K area. Even after I do CONFIG "M=H" and verify with CONFIG "M" if I poke the 8K to 16K region it remembers the value, but if I poke the 40K to 48K region it doesn't. And after I powe...

Re: What else might be connected on the ZX81 alongside the ZXPand+ ?
I am having a problem using the ZXPand "Version 2.5 Dragon" with my ZXGame interface. My interface uses the 8K to 16K area, but the ZXPand interferes with it even after I do CONFIG "M=H" and a CONFIG "M" show it as 16K - 48K. But if I poke the 8K to 16K region it will return what I poked. So it is a...

Re: New hardware I/O board using Parallax Propeller (VGA,Sound,Joystick, etc)
Using the existing 4 color mode and just setting the palette to the 4 gray scales in the 64-colors available would create a 2-bit grayscale screen. The price could be less than $100, but I'm not sure just yet. Might be as low as $50 for the kit. I will have to see. Again, the big advantage of the bo...
