Yup concur with that ring bound issue one, proper binding issue three onwards. Not forgetting there was also a slimmed down smaller sized version of same manual which I'm sure I possess somewhere or other. @Mark. 2 questions. 1) What is the value of missing resistor? 2) Seeing that the US model has a different modulator will a UK board with added resistor work as NTSC or do I need the modulator? On speccies that normally means it's manufactured in the UK, rather than in the Philippines. Hmm could be, I suppose but I,m 99% sure it donates an NTSC ULA rather than a pal item which as far as I'm aware will work in a pal system. I would add that was with the first issue of replacement membrane so not sure if say the newer Xpand compatible type has a thinner top layer, which I believe was mooted at some point,than the original which in MY experience made key board entry worse than Sinclair's' effort regardless of nice they ...

The ULA looks interesting insomuch that it bears the fancy little "diode" logo found on NTSC ULA's.
