Re: JOY81 - Programmable Joystick Interface for ZX81
Hello to all! Do not worry, I believe there are enough boards for everyone (30 pcb's) and parts enough to mount at least 10 interfaces. But there are a restriction with the piggyback pcb's, for which I only have 10 units. Until the moment I have registered the following intentions: PokeMon - 1 mount...

Re: JOY81 - Programmable Joystick Interface for ZX81
For me is okay to have either complete ready-to-use boards or components for self soldering (as I think you dont have much time to do yourself). There might be more people interested in. I will consider both options, but how many people would be interested? I am not sure if it is better to make one...

Hahaha... Don't worry PokeMon, you can build your own joystick like this that I'm finishing: Foto0011.jpg The parts I bought on dealextreme (except the box): http://dx.com/p/repair-parts-replacement-4-ways-red-ball-arcade-joystick-with-4-switch-37485 http://dx.com/p/repair-parts-replacement-obsf-but...

Re: JOY81 - Programmable Joystick Interface for ZX81
Hello to all! Lately I have not had time to Zeddy activities, so my silence. Sorry. 20 interfaces were built, 17 of which were sold in Brazil. I still have 30 boards available and sufficient components to assemble at least 10 more intefaces (If I can make time for this :? ). Next weekend I'll check ...

Re: New ZX81 game in BASIC
HI Buka! You did a nice job, congratulations! I suggest you put the UDG chars in RAM between $2000-$4000 so it can be used in real hardware (with UDG board) and in emulator too. For use with EO emulator, set the 'Chr$ Gen.' to 'Sinclair' or 'CHR$16': imagem1.png I prefer to set to 'CHR$16' because i...

Re: JOY81 - Programmable Joystick Interface for ZX81
So I think the best is if you do the production of the boards and send only boards to Europe on a per customer base in a simple or padded envelope. So there wouldn't be a problem with customs and shipment is cheap. I think programming of the GALs could be done here as well as many in the forum have...

Re: Toddy Forth 1.2 - For use with ZXpand
I see there's a list of words (and what they do) included, and even source code, but ehm... no manual? :?: I'm think of something with a short chapter on "wtf is Forth?", how to get started, how to read that word list, how the ZX81's memory is used, how to input/edit programs, etc. There's only 2 F...

Toddy Forth with ZXpand support
This is something I should have done some time ago, but I left it in the background. So here it is, a new Toddy Forth version with ZXpand support. And now, when in FAST mode, system automatically switches to SLOW while reading the keyboard (with words KEY and INPUT) and return to FAST as soon as you...
