There is a little power button next to the 'About' button which effectively does this.1024MAK wrote:One small question, I know a real ZX81 does not have a reset button, but is there a reset available in your emulator?

Re: A small amount of free stuff
How about the monitor cables to 1024MAK and the interface (and printer cable) to RWAP? Seems fairest given interest by both.

A small amount of free stuff
Hi all Thanks to eBay loft finds etc. I have some unwanted ZX81 / possibly Spectrum stuff. To be honest I'm not 100% sure what it all is! I certainly cannot test it so rather than try and dump it on eBay it is free to a good home (well, cost of p&p aside). We have what looks like a printer interface...

Re: ZX81 emulator for iOS
Actually how about the ability to save programs you type in? I'm not sure if there is a limit on the size of local storage data but ZX81 progs are not that large. Also you could save data in SQLite, one file per record in a fairly simple table. We use SQLite extensively at work in our iOS app. It's ...

Re: ZX81 emulator for iOS
Hi all, Apple approved my ZX81 emulator for iOS today: http://zx81-ios.weebly.com Consider it just the first step of an app that I hope to extend with more functionality, software titles and eventually an interview section. Currently I'm working on a more game friendly version of the virtual keyboa...

Re: "Different" ZX81's
Nothing weird about collecting the 'edge cases'. Unfortunately I don't know what's normal to know what's weird if you know what I mean?
If you post pictures of standard boards of each issue I can compare mine and and any more I see.

It can be downloaded here I'm afraid the posts are in German but translation apps will help in case you are not familiar with German language. Thanks Paul. I speak English, various dialects of BASIC and C, BCPL, 6502, a little bit of Forth, JavaScript, HTML, XSLT and TSQL but no German! Ironically ...

Re: Which emulator and assembler for the Mac?
I recommend ZEsarUX which runs natively on Windows, Linux and Mac AND supports ZXPAND. Also I recommend Pokemons Zeddy IDE as a develpment base which runs fine under wine(bottler) This book Mastering Machine Code on Your ZX81 might be of use as well. Kind regards Paul Thanks Paul. Any idea where I ...

Which emulator and assembler for the Mac?

Any recommendations for Z80 programming books for the zeddy also appreciated. Oridinarily I would write software on the comp...
