And here is manual for Version 2 software upgrade + two articles that were included in the same envelope from where I got the docs.

Ok, first manual scanned in successfully and converted into a PDF of reasonable size.

There is a second manual which I think covers a rom upgrade or something, I shall scan that another day!

I have no idea who has the copyright for this these days!

Sorry I have not forgotten this but moving house ended up getting in the way!

It's still on my TODO list though!

Out of 7 zx81s here, one has a serial number like that!

It is unfortunately packed for moving house so I can't photograph it!

Oddly enough I have a ZX-99 manual, although I do not have the device itself

Due to zx80 case design it does not fit!

Thanks for the explanation, my zx80 knowledge is limited as I only have 1 and don't want to break it
