Re: "Mageco" disk controler. [infos, Docs wanted]

Would I be in error to say that the electronics use a 3.5" PC floppy disk drive?

Would I be in error to say the only electronics necessary is the previously published schematic?

(By the schematic, I cannot tell how the connector attached/connector to a ZX81.)

Re: Improving Timex/Sinclair Tape Loading

I am going to see if I can make a PCB for the people in the States before anyone else gets further on this...

Shipping is cheaper on the continent.

CAT in Linux means "conCATenate".

https://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/CAT shows other terms for the acronym "CAT".

Re: "Mageco" disk controler. [infos, Docs wanted]

I am working on translating manual into American English (Texun). Maybe someone could edit afterword for mistakes or U.K computer terms.

Example:

French: Catalogue
U.S: Directory

Options: Index, Catalog, Listing,....

Re: One more from germany

I would also get the KDLX keyboard or new membrane and install because your membrane may be brittle and not making proper electrical contact. And if you can solder I would put on one of the 16K onboard RAM chips right from the start from sellmyretro.com. Or if you can afford a ZXPAND! I haven't been...
