Re: Vanishing CRTs and ZXmores...

I noticed the ZXmore's characters are sharper on the horizontal section but not vertical section! The vertical section is "vibrating like crazy". I tried NTSC and PAL on the ZXmore, no change! I also tried a "double shift one pokes", no change! The "black square with white "K" was vibrating vertica...

Re: Strange TS1000 mod, anyone has seen it before?

From the photos: hamcircuit.jpg There is no guarantee that the lines for /BUSRQ and GND actually connect since the we do not see the opposite side of board in this area. It is possible that the wires only go through these through-holes to something else. (The reset switch does this too but we can se...

Re: Strange TS1000 mod, anyone has seen it before?

There are two separate circuits. One (as mentioned before) is a reset switch. It is connected to the bus /RESET and GND. The second seems to be connected to /BUSRQ and GND. The Flying Dutchman said, "The jack on the Timex I arranged to receive and decode Morse code via a converter and telexes. These...

Anybody have a copy of zed ex :?: Google pulled it and a text editor called Zed off GP and not available at authors site appbrain. Is it possible to load app outside of Google Play?

Re: ZXpand tape scrape

Thanks so much for tape scrape! This will allow me to move/copy autorun program on tape to card. (Not much faith in my cassettes).

However removes from the ether an opportunity to tackle the problem. Now to see about editing "chess" to eliminate a bug.

Re: Introductions

I think the TS1000 primed me for my first business out of school. Having to add a "good" keyboard started me repairing and upgrading PC'S years afterwards. I am getting my equipment replaced as I feel I left the TS1000 learning project unfinished. Just wish I never ToSsed it out. I have begun to MOD...
