Re: Chroma 81 - SCART and Colour interface for the ZX81

The CHR$128 is a user defined character generator that allow the generation of a set of 128 unique characters patterns and is similiar in concept to the CHR$X16 from Wilf Rigter. In addition to the normal non-inverted characters, there are a new set of 64 patterns for the inverted characters (codes ...

Re: Chroma 81 - SCART and Colour interface for the ZX81

Re: ARENA an Old/New game

A nice game and I like the graphic effects, very good! Thanks Greg, for share that with us. By the way, have you available the SHR Extended BASIC documentation? I then tried to play it using KMURTAs Joy81 card (programmed for the strange keys), but the game does not respond to the "keys" generated b...

Re: Nuclear Invaders - Now with ZXPand support

Well, I made some modifications on the WRX version and now the game requires only 16K to run. Standard 16K rampack can be used provided that it is modified as described here: http://nocash.emubase.de/zxdocs.htm#hwupgradingrampaksfortruehiresgraphics Download the new version here: http://sinclairzxwo...

Re: Nuclear Invaders - Now with ZXPand support

Perhaps your program does not have a standard D-file, because you don't need it when running always in hires? You're right, I just cut off the dfile to free up more memory. Thanks for that great game :P You're welcome, but the credits must go to Dancresp that create the game. I just added some mino...

Re: Nuclear Invaders - Now with ZXPand support

Siggi, there is no call to ZXPand ROM. The joystick is readed directly with out/in instructions: ld a,$a0 ; start the joystick value latching process ld bc,$e007 out (c),a push bc . . . pop bc in a,(c) ; read the previously latched joystick value This IO address ($e007) conflict with your hardware? ...
