Re: ZX81 With Byte Back BB-1 Board on eBay

I've acted as an intermediary more than once and people among Sinclair circles know me quite well. I reserve the right to decide who to help based on how long someone has been among us and if they've shown they can be trusted. I think you would be ok. :) All I ask is for help to cover my time and ex...

An excellent achievement, although the narrow view makes me confused really, really fast. Keep up the good work.

Re: Planets by Kamisoft

Not familiar with it, but if it hasn't been preserved and if it isn't available on the zx81stuff's website would you consider trying to make a digital copy of it and scanning the inlay?

Did you ever use this unit? Is there anything you can tell us about how good or bad it was?

Re: *NEW* ZX81 in box with manual and accessories

Hi and welcome. There are a lot of things that can effect the price and that you haven't mentioned. Cosmetic condition of the computer itself, place of origin, pictures showing details, fully tested (or not), etc. Sellers who do not at least try to find out if it's working, if there's image, if the ...

Re: Souped up Zeddies

Some nice pictures there, which are always cool to see. But one thing I haven't seen is a "souped-up" ZX81 that still looks like a ZX81. :p If It would look a lot more professional if the ZX81 had that rubber keyboard cover (forgot the name) that made it easier to type, and all the upgrades, boards,...

Re: Do you want another Hires 1K game?????

I do want to see more games, but genres that haven't been seen in a long time, or games that were never attempted on the ZX81. Here's some ideas:

-Fred
-Profanation
-Any isometric game
-Bombjack
-Deathchase
-Chuckie Egg

No... more... puzzles...

Re: Working on a new game in 16K lores : preview

The fact that this is possible on a ZX81 is impressive indeed. If the walls didn't had any bricks and were just defined by their outline, how much faster would it be? I understand you need some texture in order to show movement, but maybe you don't need full brick walls.
