Re: AY tunes on a ZX81?
Thanks Mike! It's in times like these that I wish I knew machine code. I have ideas and I try to imagine how to do it, but I have to ask here and there and hope that I'll be able to get a result. I've contacted SpecAY's author and asked if he could give us his input and permission to use his code (i...

Re: ZX81 BASIC pure AND fast!
I started reading his old magazines last year and I will never forget what he wrote about still feeling young. In a certain way, we're all reliving our youth. I'm happy for Andrew and thankful for his work.

Re: TS1000 articles on Radio-Electronics magazines
Thanks. I've started scanning Sync magazines, The Best of Sum, Powerful Projects for your TS2068/1000/1500 and now the articles on the Radio_Electronics magazine. It's going to take some time, but it will be done.

Re: AY tunes on a ZX81?
Thanks! I guess it's time to start looking for a list of clock frequencies and ports used on each board. Let me see what I can find.

Question about a data save filter
Here in the U.S. little boards were sold to aid TS1000 users in loading their tape software. I have one that was made in Canada, but I think it's damaged. If a better quality picture is needed I will gladly provide it. I would like to know if it can be repaired or replicated. It may sound incredible...

AY tunes on a ZX81?
It seems many, if not all of the sound interfaces for early Sinclair machines used a compatible chip with the one used on later 128K Spectrums. If this is the case, what would we need to play .AY files on a real ZX81 with one of these interfaces, or an emulated one? The program currently used to pla...

Re: EightyOne 1.0
Thank you Mike. Here are some of the thinks that I really like about EightyOne: -TV emulation -Number of clones emulated -Number of peripherals emulated A few things that might be useful in the near future: -Option to load from audio source. I'm testing many TS1000 tapes and it would make the job a ...

TS1000 articles on Radio-Electronics magazines
I have a few american magazines with hardware projects for the TS1000. Is anyone interested in scans of these projects? Some of them might be incomplete (part 2 of 2, etc).

Backup of ts1000.us found
That's right. I have a full backup (I think) of the whole ts1000.us site, made in April 2007. I had forgot about this backup until last night. My hosting space doesn't allow files bigger than 5MB and a torrent would be too slow, so I uploaded it to Megaupload. If you never had a chance to visit that...

Forum logo compo?
Dunno if Rich would approve, but a logo for this forum would give it a better identity. Take for example http://www.speccy.org , which uses the same type of forum code. If Rich approves, and if enough users join, a competition could be held to see which logo would look better, and users who didn't p...
