Re: ZX81 Noob development questions

The ZX81 version came out really well despite being character b/w!! Compliments!
Anyway, as e.g. Prince of Persia was showing, fluid and realistic movements are even more important than pure graphics!

Ferrite memory

A friend of mine have this nice ferrite memory board. He has it since 35 years, but doesn't remember where it came from. Do someone of you recognize this board or anyway can tell the computer it was related to? Would be nice to know and will be framed with that description in case! :) ferriteignipp....

Do you mean the original flat assembler or the "new generation" FASMG?
(I liked very much it, and it made possible to me things impossible with other options!)

Re: Smaller compressed screen.

Wonderful, seems "a lot" of bytes saved!!

As soon I'll be able to get back on the 1K Super Micro Chess I'll try it for sure!!

Thank you Johan!! :)

Re: "Extreme" 1k programs for ZX80 and ZX81: starter kit

Having problems to get a source working with SJASM-compiler. If you've never tryed you should really try the next generation assembler... You can do fantastic things with it (in the example they used to automatically solve equations just to prove the potentiality), the sky the limit! ;) And glad yo...

Re: My ancient Zeddy!

Hi all, Here's a photo of my first computer I'm offering as an introduction. It's actually a TS-1000+Zxpand+, not a ZX-1881 :) Don't mind the fake throw switch on the right, I'll replace it with a real blade switch to control the inverse video as soon as I can find it in my piles of junk. :) ZX1881...

Re: ZX80 convert .o to .wav

Cesar time ago suggested me a method using his ZesarUX: when you load the program you will find the uncompressed waveform in the tmp directory. If I remember I used audacity to play it back properly; for me from the PC headphone jack to the real ZX80 direct cable was important to amplify really a lo...

Re: "Extreme" 1k programs for ZX80 and ZX81: starter kit

Can I get a cleared version with only ZX80 with flickering. I want to try something but I don't want to clear the code as it is now. Ciao Johan, not sure I've got exactly what you're looking for. Anyway if you want to eliminate the ZX81 parts is enough to delete the lines that will be included just...
