Re: Minstrel 3 with some 1K games

what all games might have in common is that during display code is executed, that is upper memory is called for display and opcodes with bit 6 set are executed.

Re: Minstrel 3 with some 1K games

Mine1K (do you mean minesweeper)

is not hires but uses hidden data on the screen with bit 6 set.

You must see spaces but on the screen commands like ld d.b and so on are executed.

Many of my games use this trick, also Lode Runner, Pathmaze and Snake

Re: Drop the PRINT instruction on ZX80

The command makes sense, the result of the printing is only displayed when the boolean result from the USR call is true, which it is when BC >0. However the PRINT itself wil print nothing even when BC >0, the ; will keep the cursor on the same line and not to the next line. Your problem is different...

It worked quite well.
But as most programs for ZX81 had MC these would not work.
So an emulator (hardware or software) is the only solution.

Re: Zeddy emulator for ZX Spectrum

I know this is quite an old thread, but this seems like an alternative method for what's been asked here, if a rather impractical one these days. Out of curiosity I was looking through the first issue of Sinclair Projects, just to see what it was all about. Lots of soldering, EPROM burning, make yo...

Re: What am I missing? - Calling RND from assembly.

You need to test before you move the elevator up if on the new position of the elevator your player is.
If so, then move that up too.
