Did you get anywhere with this? I have a Games cartridge that will not CAT. I'd like to reformat it and load a working mdr from a VDriveZX to it.....

But without a test/diagnostic ROM or another ULA to swap with, it's hard to be certain. I see it's got the same 48K memory upgrade that my S2 has. Note the extra little green PCB that allows for OKI DRAM

Many thanks, sounds daunting but I guess once I get the hang of it it will be okay.

I am surprised that there is no large repository of mdr files out there to download. At least I have not found one.
