Re: WESPI - add a cheap wifi-enabled fileserver to your Zeddy!
So I’ve been playing with this for the first time this weekend - it’s very cool. I am running the minimal (non-lcd) version. Most of the games I've tried have worked, but not One Little Ghost for some reason. I wonder why it's not compatible with the turbo loader. I had a similar issue with some pro...

Re: ZX-WESPI - add a cheap wifi-enabled fileserver to your Zeddy!
FYI - I was having a ton of trouble flashing the device. I was doubting if the ESP32 was the right type. I thought I would post the steps (at least for a windows machine) & then share the types of boards I've successfully tried it on. I downloaded the ESP32 flash tools from https://translate.google....

Re: White screen, no K?
Yup - that did the trick. Post title can now be changed to: "White screen, no w O K" Now that I can get a display, I now feel more confident to work on the 16KB upgrade. I also just saw ZX-WESPI today. I have some ESP32 boards around from another project, so I might give that a go. ItLives.jpg NowOk...

Re: 50Hz or 60Hz?
Thanks for all the info. You should check out the rgb 2 hdmi project - it was built for the bbc micro, but can do a lot of other retro computers. I have it on my beeb and it’s super sharp. I would expect it would end up very sharp and clear as you put it into zx81 mode & its sounds like it’s taking ...

50Hz or 60Hz?
I have place a jumper in series with the R30 resistor on my board, so I can change between NTSC and PAL. Some games works better in one of the positions. New to the forums so can’t PM yet. But possibly this will be of interest to others… Do you have any pictures of how you did this? I’m in the stat...

Re: White screen, no K?
Thanks Mark - I appreciate the advice
(It’s good that you use the same handle as over on the stardot forums )
I think it’s time to break out the breadboard and have a play!..
