Re: ZX80 / ZX81 Emulator for the Raspberry Pi Pico
Absolutely use the picture! As for the GPIO, not sure I'd want to sacrifice display output, especially when other solutions and fill the gap. The fact that I could go get off the shelf PICO products to put together a fully functional ZX80 was too much to ignore! LOL Sound via HDMI you say...interest...

Re: ZX80 / ZX81 Emulator for the Raspberry Pi Pico
Certainly could, the challenge with the board is that connecting it to the pico will cause space issues with the top of the ZX80 case. In fact, I had to cut down the pcb mounts you had to get it to fit properly. Unfortunately, as the developer mentions, the Pico doesn't provide enough available pins...

Re: Single pixel motion in high res?
Clearly there's lots I don't understand properly. Buddy Don plugged in a high res routine (not sure which one) in our base game code, and viola! we are creating our next game in high res. No major complications, Don set up the base screen and I made the sprites with little routines to paint our spr...

Lightning Driver Coding Examples
Looking to use the Lightning driver for a new project. Wondering if anyone has any examples they could share on using this driver?
I appreciate the driver ASM file has a ton of documentation. Looking to shorten up my learning curve!

Re: "New" Game - ZONKEY KONG! by DnD
The QAOP problem has nothing to do with any emulator. On my Timex Sinclair 1000, if I try to set a keyboard config of O left, P right, Q up, A down, the first problem I have is the config routine won't acknowledge the A, if I then use a Z instead of A, then O doesn't work in the game. Before anyone...

And just for fun, here is a link to a Timex Sinclair 2040 printout of some of our early code. Hand written date at the top.
Just a couple of kids...lol

Re: "New" Game - ZONKEY KONG! by DnD
I tested this on my Timex Sinclair 1000 and ZXPand Plus. The joystick seems to work for up, down, left, and right as expected. Any specific tests you want me to perform? I presume it does not use the fire button. Nope...thanks!!! And for the first time ever, a piece of code we did without testing a...
