Here's the board with the sockets and edge connectors fitted
and then after a couple of hours of cutting wires and soldering....
I'm going to check the wiring tomorrow and then insert the ICs

I'm going to have a go at building a 16K Ram Pack for my ZX80 this weekend based on Grant Searle's design:

As nobody else seems to be doing it, I'm considering supplying sets of the decals via sellmyretro in case other people want to finish off their ZX80 in the same way.

Well, it's been a few weeks since my initial post because I had to source the decal film that I was after, and found a high quality colour printer, all during Lockdown II, but I'm really pleased with the final results. I was after a more professional finish than a sticker and I think it looks pretty...

Sorry to hear of your woes Trevor, we can work together on getting something that we're both happy with. For the decals I'm considering using water-slide transfer paper like that below, then I can use the PDF that Moggy shared to produce my own transfers. I already have a can of matt clear spray sea...

Don't know if this might help re Stickers.? Note that the integral functions sticker is only needed if replicating issue one margarine tub plastic made ZX80's and not the issue 2-3 ABS cased variants.
