IDE option in Eightyone emulator

What is the IDE option in Eightyone? what does it do?

I've noticed it is available for all the emulated computers so any help would be appreciated

It’s a bit more complex. PAL and NTSC colour encoding are different requiring different crystals and in some cases different encoding chips (depending on which chip type was used). You need both ZXpand and a UDG128 device like Andy's UDG4ZXpand.

The snowman was a favourite when I was much younger, but my memory clocked it at far less than its 25 minutes.
