inkey$ command and player choice

would it be better for me to program a inkey$ loop instruction instead of Get a$? the zx81 doesn't really have a provision for scanning the keyboard to find a certain key. Still working on treasure hunt, but this aspect of programming is still hard to pull off. I can get away with an input command h...

Re: Treasure hunt testers needed

very helpful indeed. The story goes that a kingdom lost it's treasure to a sadistic dragon that uses Monty Python sketches as a weapon. every knight that goes to kill it comes back screaming about the damned Coconuts. Re: Treasure hunt testers needed

noted, what else? I could try an if then loop but I can't seem to see how it would work, seeing as I need the computer to account for each action per section...I'm looking at at least 15 inkey$ areas per input

Treasure hunt testers needed

sorry if this is in the wrong area but i'm in a bit of a jam. I have completed the groundwork for a new game called treasure hunt. but I need the rest tested and if possible, debugged by someone with that type of knowledge. I cannot compensate for time, but I will be sure to give a shout out if that...

Re: X and Y

Is there some sort of Graph Paper reference as far as direction.

10,10 is center and 0,0 is top left, what direction or placement are the others? :?:
