Re: ZX80 Gerber files

The two diodes, D1 and D2 and the PCB "bar" track were apparently provided to connect to a shield to protect the circuitry on the board, or maybe to protect the user... There are/were a number of television video systems around the world, some use positive sync signals and some use negative sync si...

Re: Issue 1 vs Issue 2 ZX80 case

Hi Mark, No, they were posted on the German forum. http://forum.tlienhard.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=672&start=100 Links are somewhere in the middle. Also for the ZX80 enclosure. But u...

Re: ZX80 Gerber files

And still not quite happy with the key pad footprint. Will redraw that too I think. Below some renderings of the top and the bo...

Tedious work, but getting there... Vectorised bitmaps of the original ZX80 PCB and used that as an overlay to verify my netlist. So far so good...

I will let you know what is in the package when it arrives. Watch this space... :-) *edit And according to the description it...

But I gave it a go on my FDM 3D printer and it came out reasonably. Needs a bit of sanding around the screw holes because of the support material t...

Hi! From the Netherlands...

Hi All! Just realised that this forum has been here quite a while. Sorry... I did post a few comments recently without letting you know who I am. For those interested, I am an electronic engineer. And quite a nerd (which is a good thing nowadays...). Anyway, I dug up my collection of ZX/QL machines ...
